The procedure takes approximately one hour and includes several steps.

Step 1. Consultation

Your provider evaluates your lip shape, facial proportions, and discusses your aesthetic goals.

Step 2. Topical numbing

A topical numbing cream is applied to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.

Step 3. Lip filler injection

The selected filler is carefully injected into the lips.

The injection technique depends on your goals, whether that is volume enhancement, lip definition, or lip rejuvenation.

Step 4. Aftercare instructions

You will receive personalized aftercare recommendations to support optimal healing.

Our primary goal is always to preserve facial harmony while avoiding an overfilled look.

There is no universal answer. The amount of filler depends on your natural lip anatomy, previous filler experience, and the result you would like to achieve.

If this is your first lip filler treatment, we usually recommend starting with 0.5 mL. Think of it as a "trial" treatment that allows you to see how your lips respond, adjust to your new look, and decide whether additional volume is needed.

If, after healing, you would like a fuller result, another 0.5 mL can be added during a future appointment.

For clients who have had lip fillers before and already know that 0.5 mL is not enough, 1 mL may be recommended if it suits their anatomy and aesthetic goals.

We do not recommend injecting more than 1 mL during a single appointment. Larger volumes increase the risk of overcorrection and may lead to less natural-looking results. If more volume is desired, we prefer a gradual approach that maintains facial harmony while minimizing unnecessary risks.

Results typically last between 6 and 12 months.

Longevity depends on the type of filler used, your metabolism, and individual characteristics.

Before your appointment, we recommend:

• staying well hydrated;
• avoiding medications that may affect blood clotting (if approved by your physician);
• avoiding alcohol for 24 hours before treatment;
• If you are prone to cold sores (herpes simplex), talk to your healthcare provider about taking an antiviral medication before your treatment.

After treatment, it is normal to experience:

• mild swelling;
• minor bruising;
• temporary lip tenderness.

These reactions are expected and usually resolve within a few days.

Most clients return to their normal daily activities immediately after the procedure.
